Our Universal Damper Drive Systems Come Ready for Installation
MAT’s Universal Damper Drive System consists of the RT-WGA universal damper drive, a rotary actuation cable, and a finished surface cable termination fixture or ceiling cup. Damper adjustment is accomplished via rotary cable actuation using a standard 1/4” hex nut driver or MAT square nut driver.
- RT-WGA universal damper drive which can be used with MAT round and rectangular dampers or other dampers with shaft sizes ranging from 1/4“to 3/8” square and 1/4” to 1/2” round
- Pre-assembled drive system to minimize labor demands at the jobsite
- Easy 4 step installation
- A 20:1 gear ratio which minimizes the torque required to adjust the damper and provides the necessary adjustment resolution for the balancing technician
- Includes a variety of cable termination fixtures designed to accommodate architectural and functional needs
- Accommodates round dampers up to 36”diameter and rectangular dampers up to 48” x 48”
- The RT-WGA damper drive consists of a 15 gage galvanized steel housing/mounting bracket, a machined aluminum worm and spur gear, and a steel drive shaft that captures and secures the rotary cable
- Roto-Twist® method of damper adjustment utilizes a 1/4“diameter steel rotary cable with press formed square ends
- Finished surface termination fixtures are made from galvanized or plated steel and flame retardant plastics
