M.A.T. started with a unique line of remotely operated balancing dampers, designed to allow damper adjustment when gypsum (drywall) ceilings or high ceilings prohibit access to the ductwork. Over 500,000 of these dampers have been installed in some of the most prestigious buildings throughout the world, including office towers, residential towers, museums, hospitals, and hotels. M.A.T. has since grown into a full service supplier offering a complete line of commercial dampers, VAV terminal units and comfort control systems. M.A.T. is now also a blast damper manufacturer as well as supplier.

Mike leads all corporate and operational strategies for MAT. He directs the in-house engineering group that is responsible for product line development and innovation. He also manages key business partner and distributor relationships, and guides the new business development efforts.
Mike travels the world extensively, building and developing distributor relationships, and meeting with architects, engineers and contractors.
Mike holds a BMSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Elaine leads MAT‘s national sales efforts, working closely with the North American sales representative network to support customer needs and grow MAT’s sales. In addition, she works closely with MAT production & scheduling to ensure customer delivery and product availability requirements are satisfied. This role combination uniquely positions Elaine to assess customer present and future needs and then position the company to meet or exceed those needs.
Elaine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School.
