Engineering Airflow Solutions Almost as Visionary as the Buildings They’re Found In
Our unique line of remotely operated airflow balancing dampers have been the standard in high-end North American architectural design for 25 years. Found in some of the most prestigious buildings in the world, MAT’s remotely operated balancing dampers offer the architectural and design community an attractive alternative to ceiling access panels while maintaining the functionality required by MEP engineers.

Recently launched in the GCC
The GCC continues to produce some of the most impressive and ambitious architecture in the world, fueling our decision to bring this product line to the region. Our designs minimize the damper adjustment access point to the size of a coin or eliminate the need for any ceiling penetrations completely, allowing adjustment through the diffuser or from a remote location.
For this reason, remotely operated balancing dampers have already been specified in multiple projects throughout the region. And though the dampers are specified by MEP consultants, architects have a vested interest in their use.

Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies
The building’s irregular shape and large footprint (205m x 150m) presented many challenges for ductwork system designers. In addition, aesthetic constraints, along with ceiling structure and design, did not permit the use of access panels. Remotely operated balancing dampers solved for those challenges.
