Chicago Company Rounds Up Dallas Business with Their Unique Damper Design
Dallas, the largest metropolitan area in the Southern United States, has an increasing number of architects and engineers specifying Metropolitan Air Technology’s remotely operated balancing dampers for their projects. Why? The product is designed to allow for remote airflow balancing, eliminating the need for unsightly access panels in ceilings and walls. Adjustments to airflow, traditionally made at the damper location, are now made at remote termination points that are nearly invisible. That single feature has made this product very popular among uncompromising architects, as well as cost-conscious engineers and building owners.
The product has recently spiked in sales throughout Dallas hospitals, retailers, residential towers, schools and hospitals.
Notably among them are:
- Clements Hospital
- Windrose Residential Tower
- Eagle Mountain Middle School
- Starbuck’s
- Kidzania
- Planet Lincoln Auto Dealership
Chicago-based Metropolitan Air Technology designs and manufactures the dampers that are distributed worldwide.
“As architects and engineers push the limits of design, our remotely operated dampers have continued to gain acceptance. We have seen significant sales increases in many other regions in North America, and abroad,” noted Mike Blaha, MAT General Manager. “The benefits of remote operation are a win for everyone involved.”
